Massive Interface, LLC ("we", "our", or "us") operates the SnotShot mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our app.

Information Collection and Use

SnotShot is designed with your privacy in mind. We collect minimal information necessary to provide our services:

• Images: Photos you take or select for analysis are uploaded to our secure servers for AI processing. Images are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored unless you choose to submit them to the public leaderboard.
• Device Identifier: We use your device's unique identifier to manage credits, track your analysis history, and prevent abuse of our services.
• Usage Data: We may collect anonymous usage statistics to improve our app's functionality and user experience.
• Referral Data: If you generate or redeem a Share & Earn code, we store the code and a link between the referring device identifier and the redeeming device identifier so we can deliver the reward credits and prevent abuse (self-redemption, duplicates, rate limits). This data is keyed to device identifiers only — not to names, emails, or any directly identifying information — and is retained for up to 60 days after the code is generated or redeemed.

Leaderboard & Global Feed Submissions

If you choose to submit an image from the SnotShot app to the public leaderboard or global feed, that image becomes publicly visible. Specifically:

• Your submitted image is viewable by anyone using the SnotShot iOS app
• Your submitted image is also displayed publicly on snotshot.ai, where it can be seen by anyone on the open web
• Submitted images can receive upvotes and downvotes from other users
• You can delete your leaderboard and global feed submissions at any time from the history screen in the app
• We do not associate your personal identity with leaderboard or global feed submissions

Only images you explicitly submit are shared publicly. Images used solely for AI analysis (and never submitted to the leaderboard or feed) are not shown on snotshot.ai or elsewhere outside your device.

Share & Earn Referral Program

SnotShot includes an optional Share & Earn feature that lets you invite a friend with a unique code. Here's how the data works:

• When you generate a code, we store the code alongside your device identifier so we know who to credit when it's redeemed.
• When someone redeems your code in the app, we store a record linking their device identifier to the code so the same device cannot redeem more than one code and cannot redeem its own code.
• You can only generate one code per calendar month. Codes are single-use and expire automatically after 60 days.
• We do not associate codes or redemptions with your name, email, phone number, or any other directly identifying information. The feature is keyed entirely to device identifiers.
• We never share your referral data with third parties and we do not use it for advertising.
• Participation is fully optional — if you never generate or redeem a code, no referral data is collected about you.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Images are transmitted using secure HTTPS connections, and our servers are protected by modern security practices.

Third-Party Services

SnotShot uses the following third-party services:

• RevenueCat: For managing in-app purchases and subscriptions
• AWS: For secure image storage and processing
• AI Services: For image analysis (images are processed according to provider privacy policies)

Children's Privacy

SnotShot is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
